The Hive is a proudly independent, locally owned salon serving the vibrant New Haven community. Founded in 2014 by lifelong New Haveners Dan Lyon and Jenna Vollono, The Hive was built with one goal in mind: to offer a fun, down-to-earth salon experience that feels anything but ordinary.

Cozy and intimate by design, The Hive is big on personality, talent, and heart — qualities our clients have come to know and love. With years of experience and a deep passion for the craft of cutting and coloring, Dan, Jenna, and their team have become a staple in the New Haven hair scene.
